Family Care Connection's mission is to preserve the family unit through the provision of community support, education and advocacy.

Vision
Family Care Connection strives to positively influence the direction of the next generation by reducing the incidence of family violence and removal of children of color from their home. We accomplish this goal by increasing protective factors and building resiliency in families living in marginalized communities.

Senior Leadership Team
Sharron Whitaker, LBSW, M.S., IPR - Executive Director and Founder
Mrs. Sharron Whitaker has over 40 years of experience in family preservation. She is a licensed social worker, certified parent educator, former Parents as Teachers regional trainer with advanced supervisory standing. She is responsible for the daily operation and program compliance of Family Care Connection.
Ilona Roy, B.S. – Financial Operations Manager
Mrs. Ilona Roy has been employed with Family Care Connection since September 2006. She is responsible for helping to maintain fiscal compliance, all general ledger activity, preparation of financial statements, program billing, bank reconciliation, and assists in helping to ensure program compliance. Mrs. Roy has over 30 years of experience as an accountant.
Juanita Hernandez, LBSW, IPR - Family Services Supervisor
Mrs. Juanita Hernandez has worked for Family Care Connection as a supervisor, case manager and family educator since 2004. She is a certified Parents as Teachers educator, certified baby massage educator and has worked in social services over 40 years. Mrs. Hernandez provides prenatal education, baby massage and case management to participating families.
Mrs. Sharron Whitaker has over 40 years of experience in family preservation.
